Sandestin celebrates November 28, 2013, with a huge Thanksgiving Brunch at its Linkside Center. The resort’s award-winning culinary team headed up by Chef Kirwan plan to present a scrumptious array of Holiday favorites such as roast turkey, pineapple bourbon-glazed ham, Andouille sausage dressing, along with the thanksgiving essential green bean casserole. Opening the feast at 10:00 AM means brunch will also be the order of the day serving up made-to-order omelets, a Belgian waffle station, and something with a bit of a local flair – a southern shrimp and grits station. If your idea of a Thanksgiving feast is more along the lines of “Forget the bird…let’s move on to dessert”, you won’t be disappointed. There will be an assortment of pies, cakes and cookies, as well as a Bananas Foster flambé station.

Thanksgiving Feast at Elephant Walk
Elephant Walk restaurant at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is known for its creative entrees, and Executive Chef Mike McAnulla has crafted a Thanksgiving menu that is sure to show off the staff’s culinary skills. Elephant Walk will be offering a luscious buffet of over 25 dishes including freshly carved roasted turkey with pecan cranberry relish gravy, honey-glazed ham, herbed lamb stew with rice, and a carved round of beef angus. True to their art of incorporating the freshest local gulf seafood into their eclectic menu, the buffet will also serve up Sauteed Grouper with Citrus Caper Beurre Blanc and Shrimp and Crab Newburg.
